A widely compatible system.
The Eurotect Flashing System works with both European and New Zealand made joinery, providing the NZ construction industry with one simple solution, suitable for residential and commercial buildings.
The system comprises: head flashing, jamb flashing and sill flashing; and connecting accessories: head end caps, sill end caps and rear diverter flashing.
Designed to be used over a structural wall frame in conjunction with a flexible building wrap or a rigid air barrier and a nominal 20mm drained and ventilated wall cavity; the system can accommodate most cladding systems because of the selection of jamb and sill flashing depths.
Tested and Approved.
The Eurotect Flashing System complies with the building code as an approved alternative, having been weather-tightness tested to E2/VM1.

Recessing the window installation into the frame line improves the thermal performance of the whole building by reducing heat loss, and the Eurotect system has been created with this in mind. Approved for Passive Houses, our system has been thermally modelled and has been proven to work in conjunction with clever building science to achieve exceptional energy efficient spaces.
About Us.
Eurotect was born out of a desire for one simple system to provide a weathertight solution for the installation of European window joinery in New Zealand buildings, that complies with the NZ Building Code.
Coming from a high-performance building background, we regularly work with European style windows, so based on our experience we developed a universal solution for installing European window joinery in a way that met the NZBC, one that is straightforward to install, widely compatible, and is tested and approved under NZ conditions.
